Double page
The background at first was just white so teh black text stand out more. I used a background of an iumag of lights used at a gig this gace the pages a colour effect morew colourful on the pages.

When checking over the pages the contents page looked to empty not lacking images or to much space was that there wasn't enough text supporting the headings. I added a few sentences to each heading letting the reading know what its all about this made the page look more detail and much more formal. I decided to move the images around to separate the page more and spreading the images out.

Final Magazine edits

Today I edit the finshed magaizne pages, I found that certain colours didnt work as the title also the heading didnt seem to look right on the front cover so I chamged the font and style of the heading using differnt magazine front covers for ideas and style.

Today I

Today I worked on the magazine front cover. I added a red star and bright yellow win, this is used to call out to the reader catching the attention. This effect is used on the front of most magazines. I used the "Win VIP V Fest Tickets" as this is a music magazine and the music festivals are the highlights of the music fan year meaning this links well to the genre of the magazine all types of music.

The banner on teh bottom of teh oage is giving the reader more of a insight into what is inside teh magazine "plus" what is on the front cover. In this banner i added music artist names that may apeal to the reader, i used white text for this as it stands out on teh black banner also teh colour scheme Red,yellow,black and white through the front page.

Today I finished my final draft of my front cover. I need to make the final edits re size images and change the title as the red background needs moving slightly. I used a title which uses red and grey, at first i used just grey then as this didn't stand out as much i used a red shadow out the back giving the title a more effect and stands out. I used a banner at the top this was bl ck with yellow text so this stand. I sued a banner on the bottom this time changing the text colour to red to stand out and the use of red to make the magazine more colourful.

Today I started to create the front cover, I used a photo of some members from a band that i took of them. I used to magic tool and eraser to cut around the background of the image, this left just the people. I then added a black background. I will have a look through different colour schemes to see which colours goo best together or my music magazine and genre.

I will have to change the image so that the quality is better as this was import from my website not direct from camera.
